Charlie George Jones[1] (born 23 June 1996)[2] is a young English actor. Jones has been a student in the Anna Fiorentini theater and drama school.[3] He is probably best known for his portrayal of Ben Mitchell in the BBC soap opera EastEnders, which he played for four years from 2006 to 2010. According to the Internet Movie Database, Ben is Jones's first major part as an actor. It was announced on 9 May 2010 that Jones had been axed from EastEnders and would leave in a dramatic storyline.[4] His final scene was aired on 30 July 2010, where his character told his family not to visit him again in prison.
