Chartered Biologist

The term Chartered Biologist is a British professional qualification in biology. The title "Chartered Biologist" is legally protected in the UK, and Chartered Biologists have the exclusive entitlement to use the designation CBiol after their names.

The status of Chartered Biologist is conferred on Members of the Society of Biology. The conditions for qualification are either (a) two years of training in their programme of continuing professional development, or (b) substantial professional experience over 10 years.
