Laziji
Appearance
Làzǐjī (辣子鸡) is a well-known Sichuan-style Chinese spicy chicken dish. It consists of marinated, deep-fried pieces of chicken that are then stir-fried with garlic, ginger, and dried chili peppers.[1] The chicken and chilies are served together and diners use chopsticks to pick out the pieces of chicken, leaving the chilies in the bowl.[2]
Làzǐjī originated near Geleshan Park in Chongqing.[3]
