The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (CM) is elected by the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to serve as the head of the provincial government in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The current Chief Minister is Ameer Haider Khan Hoti who belongs to nationalist Awami National Party. It is noteworthy that ANP despite of being one of the main political parties of Pakistan, has got the slot of Chief Minister for the first time in Pakistan's history.
