Chili Bar (also, Chilean Bar, Chelalian Bar, and Chillean Bar) is a former settlement and mining camp in El Dorado County, California.[1] It was located on the South Fork of the American River 4.5 miles (7.2 km) east-southeast of Coloma.[1]
It was founded by Chilean miners who had been run out of Garden Valley.[1]
