Chris Clyde Green(born 31 March 1986)[1] is an English stage and film actor, singer, musician and writer born and raised in London and Kent.

Green was born in London.Growing up in the Bexleyheath suburb of London, he attended Bexley Grammar School until he was 18. He then attended Royal Holloway University followed by graduate studies at Cambridge University. Green continued to perform during his studies at both universities. He was a member of the Cambridge University Amateur Dramatic Club.
He became involved in amateur theatre at the National Youth Theatre and the National Youth Music Theatre.[2] He also went to the Edinburgh Fringe festival and received positive reviews as Puck from A Midsummer Night's Dream.[3]

Green attended Italia Conti Theatre School on Saturdays in London for many of his formative years, where he was an active participant in the Acting & Musical department and performed in several theatrical productions.
Green played the character of Caesar in Blackbeard in 2006. Production took place in a number of locations in Thailand.
In 2009, he took the lead role as blues singer Robert Johnson in Cross Road Blues at the Hackney Empire.[4]

Green plays the guitar and voice, and composes his own music.

He has also been writing for a magazine called Zoot Magazine based in Lisbon
