Chuck McLachlan is a watercolor and oil painter from New England. His subjects typically focus on landscapes. He uses a high color to water ratio in his watercolor pieces. His particular technique lend the paintings a bold opaque look contrary to the transparent look of traditional watercolor. His process focuses on form, shape and color. Some of his work can be found in the corporate and private collections of R.J. Reynolds, Virginia Tech and the SAS Institute.

Chuck is a former linebacker for the NFL. He worked professionally in commercial and graphic arts, and he is retired from his career as an advertising executive.
