Clairemont Elementary School is an American elementary school located in the Great Lakes neighborhood of Decatur, Georgia, and is surrounded on all sides by neighborhood homes. One of the oldest elementary schools in the City Schools of Decatur, after Glennwood Elementary and Winona Park, it is a very loved school by many teenagers and adults who attended K-6. Since the changes undergone in the City Schools of Decatur school system in 2003, Clairemont no longer enrolls fourth and fifth graders but is a K-3 elementary school. The school is known for the large marketplace it hosts annually in the first weekend of December, which has over fifty artists from the region and a cafe with live music.
