Clark Ernst Brown is the vocalist for G/Z/R. He took over from Burton C. Bell, who had guested on Plastic Planet (1995) and has remained since. Clark is also the vocalist for SYMATIC, a Hardcore Metal band out of Massachusetts.

Brown was born in Worcester, Massachusetts and grew up in a small home with parents Karla and Leo Brown, and sister Jen. He cites Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple as influences. Clark was the former lead singer for Worcester (a.k.a. Wormtown) bands such as Dr.Bewkenheimer and Stoolface and remains a local legend.
