[edit] Alumni

The CVHS Alumni Site. has links to AlumniClass, Classmates and Facebook. It has no data per se. The current owner of claytonvalleyhighschool.com deleted all of the pages for specific classes when he took over the domain in 2008.

[edit] CVHS Ugly Eagles Football

2008 the Varsity Ugly Eagles were 12-1. They made their way to Santa Rose to play against Cardinal Newman. They played a great game but lost 7-17.

2009 The Varsity Ugly Eagles were 8-4. They fought back with a vengeance to beat Concord High school 48-28 during first round of playoffs. They then went to lose the second round of playoffs in Santa Rosa Montgomery high school. It was a nail biting game. The game ended with the Uglies losing 11-21.

The Class of 1972 - Started the Ugly Eagles as a means of setting those on the football team apart from the rest of the school. This whole concept was started by our Freshman/JV football coaches Glen Schrimger & Bill Nelson who challeneged us all to keep our hair neatly trimmed above the eyes, above the ears and above our collars. Keep in mind this was @ 1969 - 1970 in the middle of the "Summer of Love" and the hippie movement. To be different back then wasn't out of the ordinary but the lengths (or lack of) we took it certain bucked the trend of the times!
