Code Revival is a Canadian rock band based in Toronto, originating in the summer of 2004. Their single "Don't Change A Thing" resulted in a fourth place finish in the 2004 Mix 99.9 songwriting contest. In March 2006, lead singer Kon won second place in Mix 99.9's Rockstar Search contest for his vocal performance on the track "The Good & The Bad" from their self-titled EP.[1]
Code Revival tracks from their self-titled EP are played by more than 30 radio stations across Canada. They have produced two music videos: "Coming Down", directed by Matt Campagna which was in rotation on Bravo!.[2], and "Ominous Skies" which can be found only at this time on youtube.
In June 2009, Code Revival released their first full-length album titled Moments in Motion, featuring 10 tracks including "Soul Child", "Wounded Angel" and "The Game". The album has been described by the band as a fusion of politically and melodically charged rock & roll. Code Revival toured in 2009 in support of their newest creation.
Code Revival's music can also be heard on The Crotch Shot Radio Show on their Friday Unsigned artist showcase every Friday 7pm est
