[edit] Plot summary

In this episode, Detectives Goren and Eames are investigating the death of a toy collector who was shot by the police while trying to steal back his prized toy robot from a pawn shop.

The case leads Goren and Eames to discover that the toy collector was a victim of a cold blooded con artist, a woman who seduces nerds and geeks in order to get them to sell off their prized collections in order to keep her up in luxury, before dumping them once they are broke in order to move onto her next mark.

Goren and Eames out the con woman to her new victim and his friends, a group that are obsessed with gothic vampire literature. When the con woman is suddenly murdered in a manner taken from the group's favorite book series, Goren and Eames must find out which of the group committed the deed.
