Comedyoke, (komedaoke in Japanese), is a combination of karaoke and comedy. It is pronounced comedy-okee.

The performer tells jokes off the monitor through a CD+G machine, so one can perform like a stand-up comedian. These jokes would be tried and true jokes provided by professional comedians. This is for the would-be comic who wants to test if he has what it takes to be on stage with his own jokes and graduate to open mike night.
