Comilla Sadar (Bengali: কুমিল্লা সদর) is an Upazila of Comilla District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Comilla Sadar is located at 23°27′30″N 91°11′00″E / 23.4583°N 91.1833°E . It has 84440 units of house hold and total area 280.96 km².

As of 1991[update] Bangladesh census, Comilla Sadar has a population of 516319. Males constitute are 52.97% of the population, and females 47.03%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 259083. Comilla Sadar has an average literacy rate of 44.6% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
