Compaq Presario 5000

The Compaq Presario 5000 is a series of desktop IBM-compatible PCs, first launched in 1998. Supplied with multimedia keyboard, mouse, JBL stereo speakers, integrated sound and game controller port; they were typical of a new wave of multimedia PCs popular at the turn of the millennium.

Notably, the 5020 was supplied with a 15" Presario-branded CRT monitor and high-end JBL stereo speakers - identifying it as a true multimedia PC of the era. It was supplied with Microsoft Windows 98 (First Edition) preinstalled and available for reinstallation via supplied QuickRestore Disc.
