The Congressional Districts of Makati City, namely the first and second districts are the representations of the City of Makati in the Philippine House of Representatives. In the 1960's, Makati was part of the First District of Rizal Province. The Representative of the First District of Rizal Province at that time was Eddie Ilarde. Ilarde was again elected as an Assemblyman in 1978 to represent Metro Manila (which includes Makati) from 1978 up to 1984.
