The Conway Cyclones are an expansion franchise of the American Basketball Association which began play in the 2011-12 season. Based in Conway, Arkansas, the Cyclones play their home games at Grove Gymnasium on the campus of Hendrix College. The team has been placed in the South Central division.
2011-2012 Inaugural Season [edit]
Conway Cyclones basketball team became the first professional sports franchise in Conway, Arkansas history in August 2010. The owner of the Cyclones is Brandon Kimbrough.
Conway Cyclones professional basketball team inaugural season began November 13, 2011. Cyclones finished the season with 11 wins and 7 losses, ranking #19 in the country. In their first season they made it to the final 8 in the ABA playoffs.
