Copley is a station on the MBTA's Green Line subway in Boston, Massachusetts. Located and named after Copley Square, the station has entrances and exits along Boylston Street and Dartmouth Street.
After Copley, the Green Line "E" Branch splits off from the rest of the line, running under Huntington Avenue. Therefore, Copley Station affords outbound riders their last chance to get on or off an E train. However, travellers who want to change from one branch going inbound to another going outbound must do so at Arlington.

[edit] Accessibility
Copley Station is not wheelchair accessible. The nearest accessible station to Copley Square is Back Bay on the Orange Line, about two blocks south. See also MBTA accessibility.
[edit] Requested Name Change
The Boston Public Library, one of the attractions around the stop, is requesting that the name be changed to exactly that, "Boston Public Library". They note that the stops Aquarium, Charles/MGH, and Symphony have been created, pushing the point that the library predates the MBTA (by 11 years), and simply wants the name in their favor[citation needed].
