Coscomatepec de Bravo

Coscomatepec in Veracruz, Mexico. It is located in the montane central zone of the State of Veracruz, about 50 km from state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 130.78 km2. It is located at 19°04′N 97°03′W / 19.067°N 97.05°W / 19.067; -97.05.

The municipality of Coscomatepec is delimited to the north by Alpatlahuac and Calcahualco, to the south by La Perla and Chocaman, to the east by Huatusco and to the west by Calcahualco and La Perla.[1]

It produces principally maize, beans and potatoes.

In Coscomatepec , in June takes place the celebration in honor to San Juan Bautista, Patron of the town.

The weather in Coscomatepec is cold all year with rains in summer and autumn.
