Natal chart

In astrology, a cosmic cross is an ancient term for the T-Square.[1] A T-Square is an astrological configuration in which two planets or celestial bodies form an opposition, while a third planet forms a square to both planets in the opposition. When looking at the configuration in the chart, it resembles a T, which is why it is called a T-Square.

The T-Square is seen in approximately 40% of all horoscopes. It is claimed to put pressure on the native, and this tension is usually what propels the native to take actions to remedy the stressful situation that has presented itself.[citation needed]

[edit] Example

Take an individual whose natal Moon is posited in 2 degrees Leo in the twelfth house, her Sun is posited at 10 degrees Aquarius in her seventh house, and her natal Neptune is posited in 11 degrees Scorpio in the fourth house. Technically speaking, this is not a true T-Square because an 8 degree orb is allowed in an opposition or square.
