Couponology is an online coupons and promo codes website. The company was founded in 2009 by founders Marina Daskalis and Aida Rodriguez. The original site (then Coupology.com) was focused on New York area merchants, but eventually evolved to a worldwide catalog. In the summer of 2011, the company launched Couponology.com, their current website.

Couponology Corner[edit]

In November 2011, Couponology began a partnership with WPIX. They were featured on the PIX11 Morning News program. The segment highlighted several idea for Christmas gifts that could be bought with the companies coupons and promo codes.

After the success of the first show, Couponology and PIX11 began to a bi-weekly segment called "Couponology Corner".[1]

Giveaways[edit]

To promote their brand, Couponology often has giveaways on products that can be purchased with their online coupons. The majority of contests take place over Twitter and will have contestants enter by tweeting a message to Couponology's account.

The message will almost always be related to the product that is being given away. For example: when giving away a Griffin Technology iPad Survivor Case, entrants had to tweet reasons why they were a survivor.
