Courtney Hunt (born in 1964) is an American screenwriter and film director. Her debut feature film, Frozen River, won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.[2]

Career[edit]

Hunt directed Frozen River, a film starring Melissa Leo, in 2008.[3] It was nominated at the 81st Academy Awards,[4] and it was also nominated for the 24th Independent Spirit Awards.[5] It won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.[6]

She will direct The Whole Truth, a thriller film starring Keanu Reeves.
