[edit] Renovations
In 2011, Coventry Local Schools conducted a plan to shut down a school and rearrange the grades in the four remaining schools. Lakeview Elementary School was closed following the 2010-11 school year. Plans to remodel Coventry High School opened up the opportunity to bring the freshman class up from Coventry Junior High School. In 2011, multiple renovations and changes were applied to the high school to make it suitable for 900+ students. Since August 2011, Coventry High School has housed grades 9-12 after previously being home to grades 10–12.[3]
