Cox's Bazar Sadar (Bengali: কক্সবাজার সদর) is an Upazila of Cox's Bazar District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Cox's Bazar Sadar is located at 21°27′00″N 91°59′00″E / 21.4500°N 91.9833°E . It has 38688 units of house hold and total area 228.23 km².

As of 1991[update] Bangladesh census, Cox's Bazar Sadar has a population of 253788. Males constitute are 53.94% of the population, and females 46.06%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 117509. Cox's Bazar Sadar has an average literacy rate of 28.3% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
