Jesus Loves Porn Stars

XXXchurch.com is a non-profit organization that aims to help those who struggle with pornography. Its target is consumers and those in the pornography industry. The organization, whose slogan is the "#1 Christian Porn Site", launched in January 2002 when the founders, Mike Foster and Craig Gross, set up a booth inside the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas to promote the website as an alternative to porn. They annually attend shows worldwide.[1] The organization has received support from prominent Christian pastors such as Bill Hybels and Rob Bell and has also been deemed controversial by other Christian leaders.[citation needed]

The organization gives its vision as: "XXXchurch is the #1 Christian porn site designed to bring awareness, openness and accountability to those affected by pornography. We are an online community that tours the world speaking at colleges, churches and community centers. XXXchurch.com exists to help those who are in over their heads with pornography, both consumers and those in the industry. "

[edit] X3Watch

XXXchurch.com also offers accountability software called X3Watch. The software logs all questionable websites that a user accesses based on content type and then sends a report to an "accountability partner" of the person's choosing. The program is free to download without tech support but a premium version is offered that includes support for a small donation.[6]

This simple piece of software can be turned off at any time. An uninstall or turn off of the software is logged in the email reports. The goal of the software is for individuals to be open, honest and accountable to each other with their web surfing.
