Most first-year students in the department perform in ''Singers,'' the beginning mixed choir. More advanced singers are placed in the Concert Choir, Men's Choir, or Women's Chamber Choir. At the 2007 Oregon State High School Choral Festival, the Concert Choir tied with two other schools for sixth place, and came in second for sight-reading.

==Orchestra==
The Corvallis orchestra is a combination of both Corvallis high schools: [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corvallis_High_School_(Oregon)]Corvallis High and Crescent Valley High. The Director is Mr. Charles Creighton, who is also the conductor for the Corvallis Youth Symphony. The orchestra is widely renowned throughout the northwest, having won the Mt. Hood Symphony festival 1989,1993,1996,1997,1998,2002.

Due to the low school budget in the Corvallis region, including nearby towns such as Philomath and Albany, the orchestra is also funded by outside contributions from donors.
