Croatan Beach is an affluent residential neighborhood in the independent city of Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA. Croatan Beach is located south of Rudee Inlet, near the Virginia Beach resort oceanfront. The beach is home to many large oceanfront and bayfront homes. Croatan Beach is a popular destination for locals who seek to avoid the crowded resort area, and is also popular with surfers.^{[citation needed]}
