"Cupid Shuffle" is a song by Cupid from his 2007 studio album Time for a Change. It has spawned a popular line dance and has drawn a lot of comparison to DJ Casper's "Cha Cha Slide."
In the United States, the song peaked at #66 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #21 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, both in the August 18, 2007 issue.
The song was first featured on Acclaim's DANCE! Online. A rap remix version featuring Unk and Fabo was released to rhythm radio in August[1], and a Hurley remix was released to underground club in October[2], with a Solitair remix released to rhythm club[3], as well.
In Week 5 of the 2008 NFL season, three Miami Dolphins, including running back Ronnie Brown, used the "Cupid Shuffle" dance as a celebratory dance after scoring a touchdown against the San Diego Chargers. The three were later fined as the celebration was deemed premeditated.[4]

[edit] The Dance
The Cupid Shuffle is a line dance to the song, repeating over and over to the beat. To begin, step your right foot out to the side on 1, and step your left foot together on two. Step out again on 3, together on four, out on five, together six, out seven, together eight. Then, walk to the other direction, left foot out on one, right foot meeting your left on two. Out three, together four, out five, together six, out seven, together eight. You should be twisting a little bit with each step. Next, kick out your right foot (low) on one and bring it in on two, still twisting. Kick your left foot out on three, bringing it in on four. Right foot again on five, in six, and left foot again on seven bringing it in on eight, for a total of four kicks. Finally, take eight twisting steps to make a quarter turn counter-clockwise (to the left), and repeat the sequence facing the next wall. On the chorus, the dance should line up with the lyrics: "to the right to the right, to the right, to the right,to the left, to the left, to the left, to the left, now kick, now kick, now kick, now kick, now walk it by yourself, now walk it by yourself."
