The Cyprus Amateur Radio Society (CARS) (in Greek, Όμιλος Ραδιοερασιτεχνών Κύπρου) is a national non-profit organization for amateur radio enthusiasts in the Republic of Cyprus. Key membership benefits of CARS include the sponsorship of amateur radio operating awards and radio contests, and a QSL bureau for those members who regularly communicate with amateur radio operators in other countries. CARS represents the interests of Cypriot amateur radio operators before Republic of Cyprus and international telecommunications regulatory authorities.[1] CARS is the national member society representing the Republic of Cyprus in the International Amateur Radio Union.[2]
