The DC Rollergirls are the only flat track roller derby league in Washington, D.C. Historically, DC was home to the Washington, D.C. Jets, which played banked track derby until 1978.[1] Roller derby has grown in popularity since 2003, largely due to the creation of the WFTDA. The DC Rollergirls play at the DC Armory.
