Peter Iwers (born on 15 May 1975[1] in Stockholm, Sweden) is the current bass player of the Swedish band In Flames. He has played in In Flames along with Daniel Svensson since their 1999 album Colony, replacing Johan Larsson.
His bass playing style has been influenced by Toto bassist Mike Porcaro, as well as Geddy Lee from Rush and John Myung of Dream Theater fame.[2]
He has two daughters and is expecting another child. He also has an ex-wife. His brother Anders is a bass player too, for Tiamat.
Before he joined In Flames, Iwers played in a band called Chameleon.
