DJ Puzzle (real name Jason Donnelly) is an American Disc Jockey, Music Producer, and founder of Peace Love Productions. He is best known for his production work on the Dj Puzzle: Scratch Tactics Sony Sound Series loop library. Scratch Tactics was the first collection of turntable scratches designed specifically for popular loop based music software such as Sony ACID Pro.

Anyone using loops to create music or enhance a DJ set has probably used his material whether they know it or not. Donnelly, AKA DJ Puzzle, has been creating loops in a range of genres from Rock to Reggaeton to Electro to Hardcore ever since he started his career with Sony Creative Software in 1998, back when it was still called Sonic Foundry.

His work with Acid DJ 3.0 eventually led to him starting his own company, Peace Love Productions (PLP), in January 2000. They were one of the first to offer Acid loops, Sonic Foundry being the first. Peace Love Productions specializes in royalty free music loops, sound design, music for video games, and music for film.

Where can you find Jason Donnelly’s work? He’s spotlighted in Acoustica's Mixcraft software and is responsible for most of the loops for Looptastic, the iPad/iPhone/iPod app by Sound Trends. His latest work includes a fresh batch of Hardcore beats for Sony Creative Software entitled X-Core.

Jason Donnelly isn’t quite content just to run Peace Love Productions; his DJ Puzzle releases—including his most recent release "Geodesic Peers" are available via iTunes, Rhapsody, and Amazon and his future plans include an invasion of the video game sound design industry. He is also a freelance reporter for Chicago based eZine Music Site Gearwire.com
