Dan Lucas (born August 1982) is a British musician and record producer, although he personally styled himself as a recording engineer and is popular for his unique recording techniques. He is the current guitar player and founding member of British post-hardcore band Jairus, bass player for 60's style garage band The Higher State and a previous touring member of Oklahoma-based instrumental band Unwed Sailor. As of December 2005, he has been running his own recording studio business, and has recently reformed his band Jairus after a two year hiatus from the music scene.[1]
