Dan Pearson (born 1957 in Emporium, Pennsylvania) is an American sports publicist.
A 1979 graduate of West Virginia University, Pearson began his career as an assistant sports information director at Florida State from 1981-87. In addition to serving as primary assistant in football, he headed publicity efforts for the nationally ranked baseball team. [1]
From 1987-93, Pearson served in a variety of capacities for the Boardwalk and Baseball theme park in Central Florida, including spending two years as Director of Marketing and Publicity for Baseball City Sports Complex, the then spring training home of the Kansas City Royals. From 1993-2007, he has served as Director of Public Relations for the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League and also acted as a consultant to the Florida Citrus Sports Association and its two college football bowl games, the Capital One Bowl and Champs Sports Bowl. Pearson was named Vice President of Public Relations for the Orlando Titans of the National Lacrosse League in July, 2009.[1]
He currently serves as publicist for the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League.[1]
