Daniel Thomas is a footballer currently playing for Port Talbot Town FC in the Welsh Premier League. Previously he played for Briton Ferry Athletic and Goytre United before moving to his present club in May 2009.[1]

Thomas first came to note in September 2002, scoring a hat-trick for Welsh League club Briton Ferry in a 10–0 victory over Caerau FC in the Cynffig Cup.[2] That season he scored against Cardiff Civil Service in a 2–0 home victory for his club.[3]

In August 2012 he was arrested following a homophobic message sent to diver, Tom Daley's Twitter account.[4] It was later announced he would not be prosecuted, but instead would be fined and suspended from football for one game.[5]
