Dansk Jernbane ApS (abbreviated DJ or DJ=) is a Danish company operating freight trains. Established in 2004, the company has gained a number of customers throughout the country, in contrast to Railion's steady service reductions in non-transit freight traffic in Denmark. Like the defunct freight operators PBS/Eurorail and TraXion, it is independent of the Danish state and local authorities.
Headquartered in Rødekro, DJ is a subsidiary of the German company NEG mbH, which is in turn owned by EuroLuxCargo, a branch of the Luxembourgeois national railway company CFL.
