Dareen Abughaida is a broadcast journalist, currently working for presenter for Al Jazeera English.


Career[edit]

At Al Jazeera English, Abughaida is a news-anchor on the flagship programme Newshour. She is based at the main broadcast centre, in Doha in Qatar. She is also known for her coverage of the Egyptian revolution.[citation needed]

Previously, she worked for Dubai One, in the United Arab Emirates and, before that, for Bloomberg and CNBC.[1]

Abughaida graduated from Concordia University, in Quebec, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.[2]
