Dartmoor School is an independent, one-to-one alternative grades 1-12 school with four campuses in the Puget Sound region (Bellevue, Issaquah, Seattle and Bothell). Dartmoor is an alternative school serving students who need to remediate skills or credits, or who need a different school setting or flexible scheduling. Dartmoor is accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission, approved by OSPI WA and the NCAA, and affiliated with WFIS.

Dori Bower founded Dartmoor as a reading center in 1990 but early on Dartmoor expanded into student support, credit coursework, and diploma-bearing programs. The school espouses an ethos of student respect and uses a diagnostic prescriptive approach to educate a diverse population of learners. Many of the students dual-enroll at local public or private schools.[1]
