Datatjej (translated: "computer girl" or "data girl") is an annual conference for women studying Computer science in Sweden. (The Computer Science education must be at least 4 years long). The conference lasts for 4 days and has about 100 visitors each year. Every year there is a different theme, examples of previous themes are mentorship, back to the future, personal development.
The first conference was held at Umeå University in 1998 with 20 participants. It has since then grown and been hosted at several other Swedish universities.
