David Adams (born March 11, 1971) is the publisher of OSNews, a computing news web site focusing on operating systems. He is also the former Chief Technology officer of Public Engines, maker of the CrimeReports.com service. He also founded Akopia, maker of the open source Interchange web application framework. He formerly worked as head of Red Hat's ecommerce and webserver engineering effort.[citation needed] He was a co-founder of ICentral, a pioneering ecommerce software maker, and Aardvark Cycles, an early e-retailer.[citation needed][1]
