David Myers (born 30 June 1989) is a professional Australian rules footballer, currently playing for the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League.

He is a tall midfielder originally from Perth in the WAFL, he also attended Wesley College, Perth.[1]

AFL career[edit]

Myers was drafted with pick 6 overall in the 2007 National Draft by the Essendon Football Club.

His first injury-free-pre-season saw him have a stellar 2013 season, playing a career-high 20 games. In 2014, Myers was elevated to the leadership group.
