[edit] Biography
Taylor started off his career playing with Blackwater Crushers. He was very dominant in his age group as he was always big.[2] Taylor attended St Brendans College, Yeppoon and in 2005 represented Australia at schoolboy level.[3]
[edit] Brisbane Broncos
In 2006, Taylor signed with the Brisbane Broncos. Playing 49 times over 3 seasons, he departed the Brisbane side in 2009 to join South Sydney.
[edit] South Sydney Rabbitohs
Taylor has been one of the Rabbitohs’ strongest players during his two seasons with the club so far, earning his four Queensland State of Origin caps whilst with the club, as well as his selection in the Australian squad at the end of the 2011 season. A man mountain, Taylor is also a father of two and can be found fishing Sydney’s hottest fishing spots on his days off from training.[4] Taylor was originally selected to play in the 2010 All Stars match but withdrew due to injury. In his first year with Souths, Taylor was selected to play for Queensland and made his debut for the Maroons from the bench in Game I of the 2010 State of Origin series.
[edit] Origin Career
Taylor played for Queensland in 2011, in which Queensland won and increased their consecutive series wins to six. Taylor was suspended in time for the third game and as a result, was unable to play.
