Dean Rusk Middle School is a public school in Canton, Georgia, for students in grades 7-8. It was named in honor of Dean Rusk, who served as secretary of state under former presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson.
According to the School Improvement Plan for 2006-2007, 882 students are enrolled, with 108 staff members.[1] The school is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC).
