Delhi Public School, Patna (or DPS Patna) (Hindi: दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल, पटना) is a school in Patna, Bihar, India. It was established in 1998. The school was established in collaboration between Delhi Public School Society, and the Takshila Education Society. Delhi Public School, Patna has affiliation with the Central Board of Secondary Education, based in New Delhi. The motto of the school is Service Before Self.
The school has 2 buildings in the city, one in Priyadarshi Nagar, Bailey Road and the other in Danapur Cantonment
for the classes Nursery-Class 5 (Junior Wing) and the other for Class 6-Class 12 (Senior Wing). Earlier it had a Pre-primary wing for nursery-prep, but now the building has been given to Advantage Media Academy. The Junior wing building is on the Bailey Road in Patna and its senior wing building is situated on the outskirts of Patna, in village Chandmari of a satellite town called Danapur.
Games and Sports
Delhi Public School has many provisions for sports and games. It has a half Olympic-size swimming pool, a badminton arena, a tennis court and other integrated sports complexes. The school hosts two Inter-school sports competitions for Patna's schools. These are "Kick-Off" (Football Tournament) and "Slam-Dunk" (Basketball Tournament).
