Desert Heat is an Arab hip hop group originating from the UAE (United Arab Emirates). Formed in late 2002, Desert Heat consists of two Emirati brothers Salim Dahman known as ‘Illmiyah’ (eel-mee-yah) and Abdullah Dahman known as ‘Arableak’.
Desert Heat primarily rap in English, but the majority of their songs contain some Arabic language content.
Shortly after Desert Heat released their first video "Keep It Desert".[1] Their debut album "When The Desert Speaks" released on October 1, 2008
Desert Heat's 2nd video single "Under Her Feet" from their Debut album was released and received critical acclaim and praise due to the subject matter. The song was a tribute song to the duo's mother.[2]
