Richard A. Moccia

Richard A. ("Dick") Moccia, a Republican, was elected mayor of Norwalk, Connecticut on November 8, 2005. He succeeded Alex Knopp.

Moccia defeated Knopp by fewer than 200 votes. Moccia first ran against Knopp in 2003.

Mayor Moccia is a member of the Mayors Against Illegal Guns Coalition an organization formed in 2006 and co-chaired by New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg and Boston mayor Thomas Menino.[1]
