- As of October 28, 2009 the Discovery Channel have signed up to Nielsen Media Research Ireland.[2] Discovery Networks Europe will record data in relation the amount of viewers that actually watch the Discovery Channel in Ireland.
- As of January 1, 2009, Sky Media Ireland operates Discovery Channel Ireland's output in terms of advertising, sponsorship and scheduling.[3]
