District 3 (Vietnamese: Quận 3) is an urban district (quận) of Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 247,767.[1] The district covers an area of 5 km².[1]

This district borders District 1, Phu Nhuan District, District 10, Tan Binh District. There are many French style villas in this district.
It is the location of Xa Loi Pagoda, the largest in the city. The Jade Emperor Pagoda and the Vinh Nghiem Pagoda are also located in District 3.
