Dogwood Initiative is a Canadian non-profit public interest group based in Victoria, British Columbia. Conceived in autumn 1998 at a meeting of First Nations, environmentalists, community advocates, and labour leaders, Dogwood Initiative began operating in 1999.[1] The organization's goal is to help British Columbians take back decision-making power over their land, air and water.[2]
Dogwood Initiative strives to work on fundamental issues that will change the way decisions are made in B.C.
