Donald Joseph Klang (born on January 23, 1985),better known professionally as Donnie Klang, is a singer from Levittown, Long Island, New York. He is best known as a contestant from MTV's Making the Band 4 and was awarded his own solo contract by Diddy instead of a spot in the group.

[edit] Early life
Donald Joseph Klang was born in Brooklyn, New York. He has been involved in entertaining since he was young. Klang started off modeling as a baby and doing television and film work as an adolescent. From his father's second marriage, Klang gained a step family, including three sisters and many new cousins. He has worked labor jobs for ten hours a day. He attended Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York for a major in business degree and minor in music. Klang decided to take a semester off of college to pursue his music career and went on tour with his group. He stated that he auditioned for American Idol, but was rejected. Not long after he returned to Hofstra University, the chance came for Making the Band, and he again took time off from college.
